Bali, Indonesia has various celebrations for different events but the religious festivals are the ones specified with much importance. Gamelan Semara Ratih from Ubud, Gianyar, Bali performs Legong Kuntir at the annual Bali Arts Festival in 2002, after winning first prize in the gong kebyar competition. Dancers: Gusti Ayu Yuliati and Gusti Ayu Sri Bidari of Peliatan Dance coach: Gusti Ayu Sukmawati Music coach: Cokorda Alit Hendrawan Director: A.A. Anom Putra The dance is done in the famous Peliatan style.Balinese festivities and ceremonies are usually held during the latter part of the afternoon or at night because the air is more refreshing at that time.
